Liquid glass, spray on. Waterproof, UV proof.
Spray-on liquid glass is about to revolutionize almost everything
Nano tech at it's best. I got to find a can of this, when it's available for less than millions per ounce.

I was waiting for the "APRIL FOOLS"....but it's a bit early for that....
sounds pretty cheap if it does what it says it does.
My first question of course would be.....what's the stock symbol?

I'd love to try that stuff out... spraying the sail cover, bimini and dodger alone would make it worthwhile...since the bird crap would be a lot easier to remove then.
You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Hey Alex, if it comes out in the EU, grab me a can.

Wow, that means I could repaint my hull below waterline with some kind of high gloss acrylic urethane then spray with liquid glass.
I'm now wondering how long it takes to get this approved for medical applications. I'm going to be counting the days until it shows up in my industry.

Spray on band-aid?
I'm still stuck on never having to wax again.
Spray it on after a shower!!Cut the water and electric bill in half!![]()
On the downside, since its a silicon based product I'd hate to try to get any type of sealant to adhere to it. Probably would give MaineSail headaches and nightmares![]()
Also on the down side is that since it is an aerosol and very small you don't want to inhale it. A standard filter mask probably wouldn't be sufficient. Can you imagine that stuff coating the inside of your lungs. I can see potential problems like we currently have with asbestos exposure. Other than that it sounds like a cool product.

We are the people our parents warned us about..
Hey, it's says right in the opening paragraph, both flexible and "breathable".Who needs a respirator?
I was looking at nanotechnology on a boat show in Slovenia some time ago and it looked promising.
They also use it for anti-fouling.
They say it makes wonders on your car....
Time will tell.
Remember the infomercials on how to repair your cracked windshield before the auto insurance companies agreed to replace them for free? That is what this product reminds me of.
This product and technology has evolved through several countries (read the related links): USA, Turkey, Germany, Australia to name a few.
It sounds so fantastic that it will probably never get to market here (US) but may in our counterparts. That's probably due to the auto lobbies here.
